Seungyeon Kim

Seungyeon Kim, who received bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University in 2009 and master's degree in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, is a graduate research assistant working on his Ph.D degree at Georgia Tech. He is a student of Statistical Machine Learning and Visualization Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Guy Lebanon. His major research interests are in the field of machine learning, natural language processing, computational linguistics and information visualization. The goal of his research is to induce a concise and effective statistical language model for understanding large-scale corpora, while focusing on efficient methods of incorporating domain knowledges.
